I am married to Jenny (just Jenny) Elizabeth Wiseman (maiden name of course, not taking my surname was not an option!) We are working on our second year of marriage and have been together for over five years total. Thus far we have survived birthing and raising 7 Pug puppies, an adjustable rate mortgage, a 104-degree fever due to acute bronchitis (me), a severe allergic reaction to a cat scratch (me again) and bringing a child into the world with what could be considered one of the worst maternity ward nurses of all time. I can't even begin to count the number of Disney vacations we've been on or the number of career changes (hers) I've had to support along the way. Any way you slice it, I love the girl and have enjoyed the adventures we've encountered along the way.
Our unexpected miracle (my wife was into her second trimester when she finally pissed a plus sign) a/k/a "The Littlest Sherman" and "Little Miss Cranks-a-lot", Elizabeth Paige Sherman is way more than a father could ever wish for. Going on two-years-old the girl already has an obsession with shoes, the gift of comedy and a love of all that is Edamame. Even though she was not originally on the todo list (considering my wife and I were fairly set on never having kids and being weird animal people well into our eighties) my daughter gets just about as much love as this cranky computer programmer can give. Before asking if we're planning on making more beautiful babies, I'd like to point out that measures have already been taken to ensure that Elizabeth will be our one and only.
Currently maxed out at three, but it wasn't always that way. First there was Thumper, sleek and velvety black fur with a strong build for running unlike most Pugs. Then came Bambi, calling her a diva is an understatement. Now this configuration of two dogs lasted for a good long while. But then there was that fateful night that it happened. I'm woken up from my slumber and emerge from the bedroom to find two dogs stuck ass to ass like a couple of love bugs. Long story short, 7 live births and 1 still born later we had ourselves a massive pack. We did some liquidating after they were weened, down to 5 dogs total including mommy and daddy. This went on for a while and then we had a fire sale when we found out we were having Elizabeth. And then there were three: Bambi, Thumper and Sebastian.
