We play a lot of Diablo in our house. Across the franchise, we’ve logged thousands of hours, and Diablo IV has easily claimed over a thousand since launch.
I did finally beat Uber Lilith – and chipped my damned tooth from gritting so hard during the fight. Totally worth it.
But even after that, Mythic Uniques (formerly Uber Uniques) still trip me up. Not because they’re rare – yeah, the drop rate is abysmal – but because the game doesn’t make it obvious when you actually find one. It’s easy to miss unless you’re constantly cross-checking loot.
To make it worse, most guides out there list every Unique, not just the Mythics. Great for encyclopedias, not so much when you just want a quick “is this worth freaking out about?” check.
That’s what this post is: a zero-fluff cheat sheet of Mythic Uniques in Diablo IV. No class info. No boss drop spoilers. Just a clean list to confirm whether that drop is legendary or just… legendary.
Diablo IV: Mythic Uniques
Updated for Season 8 – Belial’s Return
These are the rarest drops in the game—Mythic Uniques (formerly known as Uber Uniques). They’re now color-coded purple to stand out, but the game still doesn’t call them out clearly, and some look deceptively ordinary at first glance.
Here’s the full list as of Season 8:
- Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander
- Andariel’s Visage
- DoomBringer
- Harlequin Crest
- Heir of Perdition
- Melted Heart of Selig
- Nesēkēm, the Herald
- Ring of the Starless Skies
- Shattered Vow
- Shoulders of False Death
- The Grandfather
- Tyrael’s Might
That’s it. If it’s not on this list, it’s not a Mythic.
Note: With Season 8’s loot changes, Mythics can now drop from Hoards after Lair Bosses—especially at higher Torment levels and in group play. But they’re still stupidly rare.
